OHE: It's Almost The Weekend, Baby! Let's Boogie!

Spladamn!

I thought instead of you waiting for the weekend to come, I could bring it to you!
This post is music video dense, so wait till you can use speakers (meaning: stop slacking at work!) in order to fully enjoy this.

Let's start off with some Wolfmother:

My friend Jeff sent me this song last night while trying to find some good songs to listen to on the way to BR. It's by Robert Randolph and The Family Band. It's pretty awesome.
If any of you are getting drunk this weekend, you might go out for a drunk food run after.
Please, please don't eat this.
Apparently, it's a "normal" cheese pizza that happens to also have four cheeseburgers, french fries, and a lot of ham on top. Yeah. Oh, and don't assume this heart attack snack was made in the good ole' US of A! It was made in Australia! If you liked that, you might like this site: http://www.supersizedmeals.com/food/

And something off topic, as usual:
Anyone else see that stupid photoshopped picture of the Iranian missles? Well, some brilliant person made these:

I won't post any photos so that I won't give anything away.

See you Sunday...maybe sooner.

OHE: Enviormental Hazard

On this installment of OHE, we will be looking at mostly environmentally related things. I've already done a rant on Hummers, so I'll keep that to a minimum.

I found this yesterday: How To Change the World
It's a blog about...changing the world. This particular link showcases great inventive things like the Eco-Night Club and the Q-Drum, pictured here:

Awesome.
I get daily tips from a website called Ideal Bite. It's a great site if you are looking for easy ways to help the environment.
Lindsay and I are recycling and composting at our apartment. I use only vegan cosmetics, biodegradable cleaning products, and I also don't leave my computer or the lights on when I am not using them, etc... Lindsay and I will also be growing our own herbs.

The only way I can introduce this next link, while still remaining on topic, is to say something about environmental consciousness being the future and say that I am an uber nerd:

Steve Schofield's Land of the Free

That's all for today. As usual, send me crap.

OHE: Back in the Act

It has been over a year, but I know I missed you more than you've missed me :)
I've taken up some new habits and broken some old ones, good and bad. I've made new friends and already gotten rid of half of them. You know, the usual. Oh, and I am vegan now. It's tasty. Tasty tasty. I'll post pictures of food I make here, too.
"Do not look vegans in the eye. If you get into an argument with a vegan, say "I'm wrong", and run away as fast as you can. Do not f--k with vegans because they will f--k you up...BECAUSE THEY'RE HUNGRY. " - The wise Margaret Cho
If you want to see any other photos of vegan goodies or any other things in my life as of late, then check out my Facebook. If you aren't friends with me, but know me, go ahead and feel free to add me. I will only bite a little.

And I'm single, but that's a long, sad story I'll keep to myself and a few choice people for now.

I do still hate the iPhone:
To commemorate the continuance of OHE, here's something from Improv Everywhere. This was brought to my attention by Ms. Lindsay.

Improve Everywhere: Human Mirror
If anyone was disappointed, like I was, to see Stone and Stone leave Last Comic Standing, you'll be pleased to see this photo:

And I know most of you know that my relationship with Scrabulous has turned addictive. I now play it at least once a day...ok all day...and I have even branched out to doing crossword puzzles before bed. Lindsay and I played a game that gave me some fun tile choices:

Speaking of Lindsay, she's my roommate now and she's awesome.
Be jealous!
